Traditional and contemporary kilts sewn to order
Paul Henry Kilts
Customer Supplied Fabric
From time to time I am asked if I can work with a customer supplied fabric, generally this is fine, but always subject to seeing the fabric to make sure it is suitable. The is also known as CMT by some, which stands for Cut, Make, and Trim.
It’s worth talking to me about this way of working if you are interested before possibly buying unsuitable cloth, generally for wool a weight of between 13oz -16oz is advisable.
For a traditional hand sewn kilt the basic cost would start from £250 , but there are many variations which I would be very happy to discuss. I am also prepared to consider other fabrics for use with contemporary styled kilts as well which use a lower yardage and are usually sewn by machine.
